ঘাস বিছানা যার

হঠ্যাৎ এক ভোর খুঁজতে গিয়ে দেখি

পড়ে আছে একটি শিউলি ফুল,

জড়ানো ঘাসের ঘুম চাদরে।

মনে হয় যেন শিশির-স্নান শেষে

সদ্য সে উঠেছে,

আবার পড়ে গেছে।

ঠিক যেমন একটি শিশু চোখ ভর্তি

ঘুম নিয়ে যেতে চায়না স্কুল।

শিউলি সে জানেই যে কুড়িয়ে নেবে কেউ,

যাবে নিয়ে অচীন ঘরে,

তাই আরেকটু ঘুমিয়ে নেওয়া,

আরেকটু ঘাসে জড়িয়ে ধরা।

ভিজে মাটির গন্ধ সে গায়ে মাখে,

নিজের শারীরিক গন্ধে যে একঘেয়েমি ভীষণ।

তার জীবনদায়ী সময় সে বাঁচাতে চায় রোজ,

তবুও জানে সে স্বাভাবিক নিয়মেই

ঘাস বিছানা থেকে হতে হবে নিখোঁজ।

ঝড়ে পরার আগেও তাই শেষ চেষ্টা আরেকবার,

যদি পাওয়া যায় অল্প সুদে স্বল্প ঋণ,

সময় ধারে ক্ষণিক বাঁচবার...

উপায় কই ?

সকাল জানেই নেই নেই নেই তার ঘুমের আশা।

পাখি ছেড়ে গেছে গাছ,

কাকভোরে তাকেও ছাড়তে হবে তার সুখের বাসা।

ন্যয় গভীর দীর্ঘশ্বাস,

কারণ বাধ্যতামূলক ভাবে মানতে হবেই নিয়মের পরিহাস...

মৃত্যু হিসেব ছেঁড়া খাতায়,

মৃত্যু নেশা আমার চোখের পাতায়।

Equation imbalanced,

দোষ দিচ্ছে উপেক্ষিত জীবন

Intoxicated শরীরে বেদনার প্লাবন।

আজ ছেড়ে পালাচ্ছি সব কিছু,

Highway-তে একা,

Moral Police করছে পিছু।

দুনিয়া দিচ্ছে বেদম প্রহার,

Cubicle-এ থেকে Bedroom ছোঁওয়ার।

আমি স্তব্ধ, হার মানিনা,

ভাঙ্গছি নিয়ম কিন্তু আগুন জ্বালিনা।

অন্ধকার রাস্তা আমি খুঁজছি বিশ্রাম,

খানাতল্লাসী সময়,

আমি চূর্ণ করি আনন্দ আশ্রম।

রক্তে ভেসে যায় আমার নখ,

শরীর আমার হিম, তবু ক্ষুধার্ত আমার চোখ।

পাওয়া হলনা শেষ উপহার!

তাই পাথরের স্মৃতিতে বসে খাই বাশি খাবার।

আমার চাইনা যাত্রা-সঙ্গী!

আমি একাই সুখী,

পথে আমার তাড়া ভীষণ,

তাই আমি স্বর্গ-মুখি।

লিখি মন্দ ভালো অঙ্ক খাতায়,

আমার অনন্ত চাহিদা গোপন পাতায়,

তবু স্বর্গ্য ছুঁতে ইচ্ছে ভীষণ,

কাজেই বিদায় করি এই বন্ধ্যা জীবন।

Paranoid Glasses

Days that slipped by

from the paranoid glasses

of my windows.

Hands profoundly tried touching

the empty sky,          Fruitless.

Rain never touched the heated soil.

Clocks stopped ticking.

The distant horizon became pale,

and breezes ran opposite.

Visions were sharp until then,

crashed with the death of transparency.

The greener heart perished.

No wonder still the finger-tips were sensitive.

They drew sketches of happiness,

and the emotions that abolished

from the inner and outer self,

probably vindicating our conscience.

Who should be blamed ?

The graves of the ancient civilizations

Who forced us to dig deep

and create mega-structures.

Or the progeny of complex human mind ?

I tried unfolding those mysteries

during the darkest hours of the day.

Failed repeatedly,    

Broken and shattered.

Even tears abandoned my rugged skin.

The story still remains the same,

everyday I sit beside those paranoid

glasses of my window pane.

Nothing changes,

My effort goes in vain…

নষ্ট মন

তুমি শীত-ঘুম হতে পারো

আমি কিন্তু জড়িয়ে ধরা ছেঁড়া-কাঁথা।

তোমার শরীর বেয়ে মৃদু আলিঙ্গন

একটু আলতো ছোঁওয়া আর        অল্প শিহরণ।

উত্তাপ তুমি মাপকাঠি তে মাপো

আমি কিন্তু মাখি নিজের গায়ে

তোমার বর্জিত নষ্ট ঘাম যত

মাঝে মাঝে আমি ছুঁই কিন্তু

পারিনা বুঝতে তার ভাষা

সে কি চায় ?

ব্যর্থ প্রেম নাকি         স্পষ্ট উষ্ণতা ?

পালিয়ে বেড়াই আমি শরীর জুরে

ধরে সেই নিষিদ্ধ গলি,

যার শেষ প্রান্তে হয়ত পাবো আলো

তোমার আমার মধ্যস্থল শুধুই কালো।

বিপ্লব চাইনা তোমার মনে

আমি তো শারীরিক আশ্রয় খুঁজি

রাতটুকুই দিন আমার

অন্ধকারে গোপন আঁতাত গড়তেও রাজি।

পারবে কি তুমি ছাড়তে নেশা ?

বেশ্যাবৃত্তির ঘৃণ্য আশা

দৈহিক বিপন্নতা এবার ছাড়ো

বিকেলটুকু

নষ্ট বিকেল বদ্ধ হাওয়া

বন্ধ ঘরের জানলা

দমকা খুশি মনেই পুষি

সময় ভাঙ্গা খেলনা

( বহু শহুরে বিকেল নষ্ট হয়েছে সবুজের অভাবে আর concrete-এর স্বভাবে। হারিয়েছে মাঠ চার দেওয়ালের ভিড়ে যার মাঝেই আঁকড়েছে মানুষ নতুনত্ব। পেয়েছে বদ্ধ হাওয়া আর Carbon-monoxide এর বিষাক্ত মিশ্রণ। আলমারির তাকে তুলে রেখেছে দৌড়ে বেড়ানোর ইচ্ছে আর বারে বারে মেলাতে চেয়েছে না পাওয়ার অঙ্ক। তবু অঙ্ক কিন্তু মেলেনি... কারন জীবনযাপনের প্রশ্নপত্রে ছিল বড়সড় ভুল! )

যাহা বলিব সত্য বলিব -

( Diary-র পাতা উলট পালট করতে করতে বেরিয়ে এলো কিছু ছেঁড়া পাতা। পাতায় ছিল আঁকিবুঁকি, কিছু ছড়ানো শব্দ। সাজিয়ে ফেললাম সাজানো লাইন নতুন করে। পুরনো চাল কতটা ভাতে বাড়ল সে হিসেব জানিনা, তবে এই অখাদ্য লেখা আমার সেটাও মানিনা। দূরে সরে যাই, অস্বীকার করি নিজেকে...)

পৃথিবীর উপর সূর্যের আলো পরেছে,

অনুভূতিগুলো আস্তে আস্তে মুক্ত হচ্ছে

তবু কেন জানিনা আকাশ মেঘলা আমার

কোন আনন্দে সে তার মুখ লোকাচ্ছে

একে অপরকে দোষ দেওয়াটাই তো আমাদের নেশা

আসলে চাওয়া পাওয়ার বোধটাই তোমার মধ্যে লুপ্ত

Disco-র উল্লাস, Vodka, Scotch আর টাকার গন্ধ

এসব ছুঁয়েই আছো বেঁচে হয়তো

কবিতা তোকে হারালাম

কবিতা তোকে হারালাম,

কলমের শেষ কালিটাও ছিল তোর জন্য

শুকনো কোন কাগজে,

যার পাতায় পাতায় ছিল কাটাকুটি।

ছন্দ মেলেনি, শব্দগুলো মনমরা।

তোর গায়ে পরাতে চেয়েও পারিনি

সুরের অলংকার।        

মনের কল্পনাগুলো সরে আলোকবর্ষ

দূরে ক্ষীণ।

যেন মহাজাগতিক বিস্ফোরণে অকাল-মৃত্যু।

দোষটা আমার, অবহেলায় রেখেছিলাম সূক্ষ্ম অনুভূতি।

রোদ-তপ্ত দেহে শুকিয়েছি জলো-কণা,

কখনো না ভেবেই

পরিযায়ীর মতো পাল্টেছি তোর দেহ।

ক্ষমা করিস

পারলে আবার আসিস ফিরে,

কোনো এক গুমোট গ্রীষ্মের দুপুরে।।

পেড়িয়েছে দিন, এগিয়েছি আমি,

তবু শক্ত আমি, পাথরের বুক,

রয়েছে খানা-খন্দ, তাতেই তোদের সুখ।

মাখাস আমায় কেন সস্তার প্রলেপ ?

মাস গেলেই তো আসল রূপ, তোদের আক্ষেপ।

খাই আমি বৃস্টি, খাই আমি রক্ত,

চাকায় পিষলে আমায় তোরা নাকি মুক্ত!

আমি রাস্তা, আমি সস্তা,

Traffic-এর লাল আলোয় হারানো আস্থা।

তুমি গতি, মৃত্যু পরিণতি,

দোষ দাও আমায়, ওগো অশ্লীল প্রগতি!

কেন ভেঙ্গেছ মন, ওগো মানব-জীবন ?

বৃস্টিতে ভিজে...

আমি শাক্ষি রয়েছি তার, কত ঘটনার,

আড়ালে নিজে।

তবু বেঁচে আমি জানিস, তোদেরই অবহেলায়

আঁকড়ে রেখে মাটি, ক্ষত-বিক্ষত দেহের জ্বালায়।

বিস্তৃত আমি  ছড়িয়েছি শহরের ওলি-গলি,

বেড়েছে পায়ের চাপ তাও নিঃশ্বাস নিয়ে চলি।

ওগো আকাশ, মেঘলা আকাশ

স্পর্শ দেবে তুমি ?

ফুসফুসে আমার কালো ধোঁয়া

মুছে নেব আমি।

মানব-দেহের ব্যাস্ততা ভীষণ,

সময় তাদের নাই।

Before I begin to explain the topic, certain questions must be popping out of your mind. Let me answer them first.

Question : What’s this post is all about ?

Answer : This post will show you the method to free yourself from your ISP’s designated DNS Servers, and let you use the Public DNS servers available free of cost.

Question : WTF is this ‘DNS’ ? “I m not a technical person!”

Answer : The most basic task of DNS is to translate host-name such as www.facebook.com to IP address such as 67.215.65.132. In very simple terms, it can be compared to a phone book. DNS also has other important use such as email routing.

Question : How this will benefit me ?

Answer : Good question! It will help you by increasing your net surfing speed. Website load times will be reduced. Public DNS protects against many forms of attack, including malware, botnets and phishing. Thus it is more safe and reliable.

Question : How is this possible ?

Answer : These Public DNS service providers provide larger cache memory (your ISP's DNS server's cache memory is quite small to serve such large number of request arising every fraction of second) for faster processing and uses anycast algorithm to search for the nearest server to process your request. It also uses methods such as geo-tagging and typo correction for improving efficiency. As far as safety is concerned, these service providers runs various anti-phising and malware protection filters to supply you with more refined data.

Continuing with the topic, DNS is such an integral part of our Internet life working behind the scenes every time we connect to a website. In most situations, our Internet Service Provider specifies the DNS Server address that we key into the browser network settings or the router.

Next, how to change or setup DNS server IP address ?

Most of us are using Windows based Operating System (OS), leaving few technocrats who uses platforms such as Linux, Sun Solaris, Free BSD etc. Therefore I will give you the procedure to setup DNS server IP in Microsoft Windows 7 / Vista / XP etc.

Your computer is connected to the internet via Router (Wireless/Wired). If you have more than one computer/laptop using the same internet connection, then you can change the router configuration to change the DNS server IP (This method is router specific and complex for non-technical people). Easiest way is to change the DNS server IP in your computer/laptop.

Step 1: Open the ‘START MENU’ and then go to ‘CONTROL PANEL’

Step 2 : This step is version specific:
Windows 7 : Click on ‘VIEW NETWORK STATUS AND TASKS’ under ‘NETWORK AND INTERNET’ settings.
Vista : Click on ‘VIEW NETWORK STATUS AND TASKS’ under ‘NETWORK AND INTERNET’ settings.
Windows XP : Switch the control panel to ‘Classic View’ (option at tab on left side). Click on ‘NETWORK CONNECTIONS’.

Step 3 : Follow the next steps as you get into the network settings.
Windows 7 : Click on your primary connection or Local Area Connection (You might have given a different name to it. e.g - BSNL Broadband etc) under 'Active Networks.'
Vista : Click on ‘VIEW STATUS’.
Windows XP : Choose your connection from the Network Connections window.

Step 4 : Click the Properties button. (Incase of Windows 7 & Vista, Windows need permission to continue. Select ‘CONTINUE’)

Step 5 : Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click the Properties button.

Step 6 : Then click the button ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’: and type in PUBLIC DNS server IP addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.

Step 7 : Last but not the least, you need to close everything and restart your system to apply the changes. That’s it. We are done!

Updating default applications in Micromax Mobile Phones

HOW TO UPDATE THE DEFAULT APPLICATIONS IN MICROMAX MOBILE PHONES ?

It has been around 9 months since I brought a Micromax Q75 handset for myself. Mostly because I was searching for a phone with high features and low cost. Micromax was the best option for me. As an avid internet user my first target was to play with the applications provided, using my wi-fi connection. While it went fine but urged me to update them as they were out-dated. I faced the first problem. Most of the Micromax handsets doesnot allow updating the default applications (Opera Mini, Nimbuzz, Snaptu etc). What to do ???

Don't worry, its simple. Here is the tweaking method I found.

Requirements : Internet Connection, and WinRAR(Click here to download).

Aim : The Mobile's Operating Sytem scans the argument named 'MIDlet-Name' declared within the MANIFEST.MF file. If we can tweak this argument then default application can be updated.

Step 1: Go to the software vendor's website or any other mobile application downloading site and download the latest version of the application (DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE WITH  .jar  EXTENSION).

Step 2: Right click on the downloaded file and open the file with WinRAR application.

Step 3: Once the file is opened, you will find a folder named 'META-INF' within it.

Step 4: Open the folder 'META-INF'. A file named 'MANIFEST.MF' will be present. Open the file using notepad. 

(This file stores the MIDlet information of the application. MIDlet stands for Mobile Information Device. It provides the information for interaction between the application and the environment in which it runs).

Step 5: Within the file you will find 'MIDlet-Name:xyz' (Here 'xyz' stands for the application name). Change the value of 'xyz' to any other value.

E.g: MIDlet-Name:Operamini (default)

       MIDlet-Name:Operalatest (Changed)

Then just save the file using Ctrl+S. After that you will be asked to update the archive. Select 'YES' and exit.

Step 6: Transfer the file to your phone via data-cable or Bluetooth and install the application normally. That's it. The latest application will be installed.
